Yes, that may sound dramatic but just ask any contractor if they feel they need more insurance.

“Colbie saved me $2,000 a year on my trucks and trailers” -James LoForti, LoForti Construction

Commercial Auto Insurance can be a major expense to most businesses, especially for contractors. When in the construction industry 50% of your business or more can be driving from place to place. Whether it is to pick up materials for a job or to drive to and from different job sites. You can see how driving around all day can put you at a greater risk of being involved in an accident.

Commercial Auto Insurance is required by law, at least in California and Texas. Similar to personal auto insurance.

The difference between commercial and personal auto insurance is that the industry standard (at least to me) is $1,000,000 for Liability. Quite a bit more coverage than personal auto standards.

I am offering great rates right now for Commercial Auto Insurance. Let’s get in touch today and see if we can begin the savings for your business.

Many insurance companies today don’t sell their policies through agents, but directly from the company either online or over the phone. It might seem that having an agent to help you purchase auto insurance is a thing of the past, but don’t discount the insurance agent just yet. There are some very good reasons to consider using an insurance agent for your auto policy purchase.

Agents Know Their Products

Many of the customer service representatives who handle the phones at large insurance companies know the basics of auto insurance policies, enough to help you select and purchase one. But insurance agents, especially those who have been around for a while, understand a lot more about coverage and policy limits. They can share with you a wealth of knowledge that will ensure you not only get the right policy, but the best rate and a good understanding of what you are paying for. An agent will help you select the best possible coverage limits to fit your needs.

Agents Are On Your Side

If the day comes when you need to file a claim, it’s always good to have someone who is truly on your side. Especially in a complicated claim, your agent can walk you through the process and be there to answer all your questions. An agent is also there to step in when there are disagreements with the adjuster or other involved parties at the insurance company. Because your agent knows all about the policy and how the claims process works, they will better be able to negotiate and discuss claims issues with your adjuster.

Agents Keep Your Policy Accurate

A good agent will take the time to review your policy regularly and make sure that everything is accurate and you are still carrying the coverage you need. An agent knows when changes in your life might affect your insurance coverage needs, such as a marriage or a child reaching driving age. Large insurance companies simply can’t provide that level of personal attention.

Are Agents More Expensive?

There is a general view that an insurance policy purchased through an agent will cost more than one purchased directly. That isn’t necessarily true. The best rate for you may well be one from an agency, so don’t discount quotes from agents when you are shopping for car insurance. You might get the best rate along with the service an agent can provide.

You might not feel that you need an agent for your auto insurance, but there are certainly some very good reasons to take the time to meet with a few and see if it turns out to be right for you.

The Nevada DMV has approved to issue the first robotic vehicle test license to Google.

After demonstrations along freeways, highways and neighborhoods in Carson City and on the Las Vegas Strip, DMV’s Autonomous Review Committee has approved the application.

As you can see in the picture the license plates have the infinity symbol on a red license plate.

“I felt using the infinity symbol was the best way to represent the ‘car of the future,’ said DMV Director Bruce Breslow.

The director even discusses what the license plate will look like in the future when manufacturers begin producing autonomous vehicles.

How will robots react to “road rage”?

This is a Lakes House by Creative Space Architectural Design.

The open feeling that this house would offer seems nice. It would be great for a place on a lake or even a beach house.

Is there a special insurance for a fancy home such as this one? Yes and no, and it all depends on dollar value. As long as your agent makes sure when calculating the value of the home that they rate it properly, you should be good. If you jus built this house..you will know the value that needs to be put on it for the replacement cost.

The average home does not look like this one. The problem that I run across is that most average homes are underinsured. Make sure that your home is not one of them:

Not something I would advise putting in, as far as safety goes! However, it is nice to see something different, especially, for stairs.

Before having a people over or a party, where people will be going up and down the stairs in the picture, you may want to make sure the liability coverage on your home is max’d out. These could lead to a dangerous fall and possibly, lawsuit.

You have a home policy over here and you have your auto policy over there. Two different companies? Why? Doesn’t make sense. Especially when you are missing out on major savings. Some of the companies that I offer coverage with have savings up to 20% on both the home and on the auto policy. This is also a great time to see about bumping your coverage limits up. You may be paying less than you were before with better coverage!

That is a saying I love to use when taking an insurance proposal to a customer. “Better coverage for less!”

If you are a furniture store owner, you very well know the value of inventory that is on the floor of your store. Standard furniture stores average $450,000 of business property. If the building was to burn down, whether you own or are just leasing the building, it would be a major loss to the business. It would possibly put most business–out of business.

Lately I have been working with a number of furniture stores and not only increasing their coverage but finding that a lot were not properly covered AND on most it turned out that they were still going to have a savings on the overall premium.

I have worked with a major insurance company in putting together a program specific to the risks of a furniture store. With this company you can package the commercial auto policy and get another significant discount. The discounts that this company has been allowing me to offer has had great success, in not only bringing great savings to my customers but also making sure that these businesses will be properly covered, if or when the time comes.

Take advantage of these great savings, today!

Bored. I already stopped listening. The term “Umbrella” already begins to make sense. Actually the whole concept of an Umbrella Policy is SIMPLE!

Umbrella Policies provide Liability coverage over your Home and Auto Policies(yes, plural, for those with multiple rental properties, etc…). Whereas your Home Policy and your Auto Policy only offer the coverage for that specific product and they usually only offer it up to a max of $500,000. In a sue happy world, is $500,000 enough? Nope. Most people think since they do not have $1,000,000 in the bank that they are fine, nothing to lose. Number 1 thing an attorney is going to look at is your Home or property. How much is it worth? Number 2, depending on how bad the law suit is or the plaintiffs attorney, they can and will garnish your wages.

A standard Umbrella for personal lines is $1,000,0000, and yes this is in “excess” to the auto or home policy. So you will now have $1,500,000 in overall liability coverage. Now, thats great.

How much is this going to cost??? $1,000,000 in coverage, sounds expensive!

Right now you can get an Umbrella Policy for as low as $200 a year!

Find out what it would cost you: cm@cm4insurance.com
